These dragons are identified by their brown, mud-covered bodies. A true Mudpuppy must have triple colors (XXX)! For example, a dragon with the colors Soil/Soil/Chocolate is XXY, meaning that they are not a Mudpuppy, but a dragon with the colors Soil/Soil/Soil is XXX and is therefore a Mudpuppy.

These fun-loving dragons want nothing more than to find the deepest, sloppiest mud puddle in sight and jump right in! Some suspect that these dragons used to live in the oceans surrounding Dragonhome before they came on land and found the wettest environment they could! Don’t worry though, mudpuppies can breath just fine, even when in over their heads in mud. Of course, a good ol’ dirt pile is just as good when water is in short supply--as it often is in the Shattered Plains. Anything that can coat their scales and help them keep cool in the summer sun.
Do be warned, however. All mudpuppies are excellent mud-wrestlers too, and they aren’t afraid to drag any other dragon down in the muck with them!
